Virtualization, cloud computing and ubiquitous mobile devices are all contributing to exponential increases in traffic volumes. To cope, services are moving closer to the Edge, and network traffic generated by telemetry, usage monitoring and traffic analysis are driving the cost of Load Balancing, Packet Brokering and Telemetry collection through the roof.

The Edge AI Starter Kit powered by Intel now enables quick integration of vision based solutions

Taipei, Taiwan — Dec 8, 2020 Lanner Electronics, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of intelligent edge computing appliances, announced its collaboration with Intel to launch the Edge AI Starter Kit for industrial automation. Combining Lanner’s Edge AI Appliance with Intel Edge Insights for Industrial, the Lanner Edge AI Starter Kit aims to deliver an all-in-one platform composed of a high-speed camera, Intel CPU and VPU-accelerated computing hardware, and application-tailored software to accelerate time-to-market AI deployment at the industrial edge, such as vision inspection, predictive maintenance and operator monitoring.

The programmable network platform needed to meet the needs of cybersecurity in the evolved network edge. This architecture fully consolidates high performance computing, high speed switching fabric and massive storage into an all-in-one programmable hyper converged platform.  As a result, the platform had to lower TCO and reduce CapEX and OpEX. What’s more, it needed to be NEBS-ready for high availability applications and offer terabit capacity networking with programmable telemetry in silicon

Fremont CA, USA, and Stockholm, Sweden, November 18th, 2020. Lanner Electronics, the leading Whitebox Solutions™ provider, and Enea, a supplier of innovative software components for telecommunications and cybersecurity, today announce the certification on the Verizon Wireless Network of Lanner’s NCA-1515/L-1515 platform with the Enea NFV Access virtualization software for Customer Premise Equipment (uCPE).

SD-WAN offers enterprises high degree of flexibility for WAN load balancing, optimization and visibility. SD-WAN consolidates multiple networking functions into a single software-defined vCPE platform which virtualizes all the network functions with enhanced service agility, security and QoS (Quality of Service).

Taipei, Taiwan — November 10, 2020 — Lanner Electronics (TAIEX 6245), a global leader in SDN/NFV network appliances, today announced that it has been recognized as a 2020-2021 Leaders Board Partner at the Intel® Network Builders Winners’ Circle Awards. The distinction is the top honor at the awards and recognizes contributions in accelerating the development of and transformation towards 5G, uCPE SD-WAN and MEC.

Lanner today sees the introduction of the NCA-5310, a 1U rackmount network appliance built with AMD’s EPYC™ 7000 Series CPU (up to 64C128T), delivers highly parallel workloads, PCIe 4.0 I/O performance, 40Gbps encryption/decryption security acceleration and is designed for application delivery, mobile edge computing, WAN optimization, DPI/IPS/IDS, NFV/SDN and NGFW/UTM.
