New Taipei City, Taiwan, May 19, 2020 - Lanner Electronics Inc, the leading uCPE and MEC Whitebox Solutions™ provider, today announced its partnership with flexiWAN, the pioneer in open source SD-WAN software, to offer SD-WAN solution in an open, modular and vendor-agnostic architecture which allows for dynamic loading of router and management networking applications bringing to networking the concepts of the mobile application (different from the VNF concept that is also possible). With this strategic partnership, Lanner’s white-box uCPE hardware NCA-1510 becomes pre-validated for flexiWAN’s SD-WAN to liberate enterprises and service providers from vendor lock-in equipment, allowing the implementation of third-party VNF and simplified management in traffic routing and application-optimization.
The demand within the global small cell networks market has been rising on account of the growing popularity of LTE networks. Small cell networks are essential to the functioning of 4G and 5G networks. And the other way around, the advance of LTE networks has also played a major role in the growth of the global market for small cell networks.
Due to increasing initiatives for intelligent transport systems (ITS) applications such as connected vehicles and smart public transit, the demand is driving the growth of the in-vehicle computer system market. In addition, advancements in specialized vehicles such as connected ambulances, fire trucks, and cash-in-transit vehicles would be instrumental to the growth of the in-vehicle computer system market.
Today sees the release of Lanner’s NCA-4220, a 1U 19” rackmount appliance powered by Intel® Xeon® E, Core i7/i5/i3, Pentium® or Celeron® CPU (codenamed Coffee Lake).
The NCA-4220 features the brand new LGA 1151 socket, up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory capacity at 2666MHz, comprehensive Intel® C246/Q370/H310 series chipset, either eight or six GbE LAN configuration and three pairs of Gen3 bypass. For expansions, the NCA-4220 does come with 1 Ethernet NIC module socket (PCIe*8 default, 2x PCIe*4 optional).
Taipei, Taiwan, May 4, 2020 – Lanner Electronics, the leading network hardware provider of enterprise network security, uCPE, SD-WAN, MEC and Intelligent Edge appliances, today announced the NCA-1515 uCPE appliance’s support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard; with the improved capacity, coverage and performance empowered by Wi-Fi 6, this solution can operate in concurrent dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz frequencies, ensuring the superior data transmission performance that outclasses what other competitors in the same trade claim to offer.
SD-WAN enables the deployment of multipath networks, distributing bandwidth across available fixed-line (MPLS/ADSL) and mobile broadband connections (LTE/WiFi) for optimal performance. As reliability of wireless connectivity becomes increasingly important to SD-WAN and MEC applications, Lanner has allocated R&D resources towards wireless technology innovations – not only did Lanner CAT-6 LTE module PGN-300 receive PTCRB and Verizon certifications, but it innovates LTE antenna design that enhanced signal efficiency and network compatibility.
Taipei, Taiwan and Dublin, Ireland – April 29, 2020 - Lanner, the global leading supplier in whitebox uCPE and MEC platforms, today announced its collaboration with UBiqube, the leader in Integrated Automation Platforms (IAP), to strengthen its dynamic uCPE offering for emerging ‘cloud ready’ edge networks.
