In order to meet the demand for edge security gateways and virtual CPEs, Lanner today introduced the NCA-1250, a fanless compact desktop network platform powered by Intel Atom x7000 and N Series x7425E/N97 (codenamed Alder Lake N).
The NCA-1250 offers robust multi-core (4 or 8) computing power in a compact desktop form factor. Together with the processors it can be configured with, namely the Intel Atom x7425E/N97, the gateway appliance can be a cost-effective network platform for small and medium enterprises, retail, branch office and those looking to deploy any edge security application.
In spite of its small foot-print, the NCA-1250 offers speedy networking I/O, supporting up to 6x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports and 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz system memory. Other features include 1x console port, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x M.2 3042/3050/3052 For 5G/LTE (USB3.2), 1x M.2 2230 E Key for Intel AX201 (CNVIo), 1x nano SIM slot, 1x onboard 16GB EMMC (by SKU) and TPM 2.0.
