Lanner today announced the release of the VP-210, a desktop network security platform powered by Marvell® OCTEON CN10208 Processor.

The VP-210 is equipped with 8x SMA connectors for LTE/5G, 2x SMA connectors for Wi-Fi and features 8x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, 2x 10GbE combo (RJ45/SFP+) ports and 2x 10GbE SFP+ ports (please see SKU for details)

OCTEON CN102 Series Processors, according to Marvell, are optimized for data and control plane applications in routers, firewalls, 5G small cells, SD-WAN appliances, delivering superior performance while at the same time reducing power consumption, therefore addressing the growing requirements for network, storage and security processing among cloud service providers, telecommunications carriers and enterprises.
