Overview
The ECA-4027 Short Depth Chassis Edge Computing Appliance features a powerful 12 or 16-core Intel® Xeon® D-2100 processor, with 8 ports 10G SFP+ and 2x 40G QSFP+ ports for Edge Cloud, 5G Open RAN, and AI edge-focused applications. ECA-4027 was designed to leverage multi-access edge computing by supporting a PCI-E slot for FPGA, GPU, or optional G.8272 T-GM Compliant IEEE 1588v2 SynE expansion, in addition to Intel® QuickAssist Technology for improved network performance. With wide-temperature and short-depth chassis, and on-board GPS, ECA-4027 delivers significant performance enhancement in Open RAN, making it suitable as Cell Site Gateway, Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) server for 5G Edge Cloud, and Open RAN platform for Distributed Units.
