Lanner today launched the ECA-6052, a 2U 19-inch rackmount edge computing appliance engineered to deliver high-density computing, scalable I/O and secure processing for demanding edge environments.

Designed to handle intensive workloads, the ECA-6052 is powered by either the Intel® Xeon® Granite Rapids Workstation Processor or the Intel® Xeon® 6 Processor (Sierra Forest-SP/Granite Rapids-SP) and complemented by eight 288pin DDR5 6400MT/s RDIMM sockets, allowing for a maximum memory capacity of up to 1024GB.

The ECA-6052 also provides versatile hardware expansion tailored for heavy-duty applications. Depending on the specific configuration, the system offers up to two FHFL PCIe*16 double-width slots (capable of supporting up to 300W) and one FHHL PCIe*16 double-width slot (supporting up to 150W); for data management, this edge computing platform includes four swappable 2.5-inch SATA drive bays, ensuring easy maintenance and reliable storage.

Built for mission-critical operations, the ECA-6052 is equipped with an Intel® I210 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port, a Type-C console port, and a USB 3.0 interface; it also prioritizes hardware-level security and management through a Secure Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), an AST2600 IPMI module, and an integrated TPM 2.0 chip.

Last but not least, in order to guarantee system stability during continuous operation, the ECA-6052 features a high-efficiency 1300W CRPS AC/DC redundant power supply (N+1) and an advanced cooling array of five smart fans, supporting operating temperatures between 0ºC and 40ºC.
