New Taipei City, June 6, 2018 —Lanner Electronics Inc., a global leader in manufacturing and supplying network appliances, today announced a strengthened partnership with 128 Technology, the leader in Session Smart routing, and Arrow Electronics, world-class provider of industrial and enterprise electronic components and solutions, to jointly launch the online web store of supplying Session Smart product lines with fast configuration in hardware, software and carrier data plan, which enables the zero-touch provisioning of supplying uCPE devices for remote sites or branch offices. The web store is estimated to be made public by the end of June.
The business model of uCPE today requires seamless integration and zero-touch capabilities to enable turnkey solution while eliminating manual configurations. In other words, the zero touch deployment is what prompts service providers to implement uCPE. Thus, the newly established web store through the partnership of 128 Technology, Lanner and Arrow, offers the configurable selections including router hardware, software (Turn-Key, ZTP or HW only), LTE Carrier and Data Plan. This pre-configuration advantage enables zero-touch approach when implementing a new uCPE hardware device.
Like their previous collaboration practices, Lanner again serves as the hardware solution provider, and in this web store launch in June, supplies its Intel x86 based uCPE white-box hardware, the 1U rackmount routers with a selection of different CPU cores and memory settings. Lanner also carries a variety of uCPE/VCPE devices like desktop form factors, high core counts CPUs, Intel QAT/DPDK/SR-IOV virtualization optimization, LAN bypass/redundant power and F.A.S.T NIC module expansion offering WiFI/Lte connectivity.
“We’re pleased to collaborate with 128 Technology and Arrow Electronics to launch the web shop together, offering a fast and convenient configuration of hardware and software needed to fulfill Zero Touch Provisioning.” said Jeans Tseng, GM of the Telecom Application Business Unit of Lanner. “Together, we are enabling our service operators with an agile, economical and secure routing solution that they can easily customize to meet their needs.”
In addition, 128 Technology will have delegates conduct a keynote speech in Lanner’s SDN/NFV seminar in Taipei on June 6th, 2018. The theme will cover SD-WAN and how SDN is deployed in 5G applications.
