Due to the exponential growth of connected devices and Big Data, service providers have to upgrade their cloud computing platforms in order to stay competitive when users demand faster, more flexible and more secured network services. This has presented a new major challenge for IT system operators and telecom service providers to manage their network structures. At CommunicAsia 2016, Lanner will introduce next generation solutions designed for cyber security and WAN optimization for enterprise networks, as well as video transport and SDN/NFV systems for telecom network.

SDN/NFV Solution
At CommunicAsia 2016, Lanner will showcase its latest platform for NFV/SDN networks, including 2U rackmount appliance FW-8896 with NVMe module, a data center grade network appliances featuring dual Intel Haswell-EP/Broadwell-EP CPUs with C612 PCH, and supporting 10 x IOPS, max. 16 x PCIe NVMe SSD trays and high-availability.

Next Generation Carrier Ethernet Solution
Regarding telecom carrier-grade solutions, Lanner will feature its NEBS-compliant HTCA-1000 and HTCA-2000. HTCA-1000 is driven by Intel Atom C2758 CPU and supports a switch mechanism BCM StrateDNX (BCM8867x Jericho) with 720 Gbps. This 1U appliance provides 4 x NIM slots at front panel supporting 10G SFP+/40G/100G QSFP28 as network expansion. Similar to HTCA-1000, HTCA-2000 also integrates BCM StrateDNX switch mechanism (up to 4). Performance-wise, HTCA-2000 is driven by powerful architecture of dual Intel Haswell-EP E5-2600 v3 CPUs with C612 PCH to deliver a much greater throughputs. Regarding the NIM slots, HTCA-2000 supports up to 8 NIM slots and 10G SFP+/40G/100G QSFP28.

Enterprise vCPE Solutions
Lanner will also demonstrate vCPE solutions by featuring new generation network appliances, including ultra-compact FW-7525 (by Intel Rangeley) and NCA-1020 (Intel Braswell) as well as 1U short-depth rackmount NCA-4010 (Broadwell-DE).

Video Transcoding Modular with 4K H.265 Compression
For high-volume on-demand video transport via IP network, Lanner will present the new NCS2-VT02A, an add-on NIC module with the latest Intel® Skylake-H CPU for unfettered performance and 4K H.265 compression capability.

Mobile Surveillance
Lanner will feature mission-critical and I/O intensive in-vehicle NVRs LVC-2001, as well as high-performance LVC-5000-B3. They are built with high-processing power, multiple LAN ports, MIL-STD-810G shock/vibration resistance and other I/O configurations suitable for in-vehicle conditions.
