Lanner today announced the release of the NCA-6130, a high-performance 2U rackmount network security appliance powered by the AMD EPYC™ 9005 Series CPU that delivers breakthrough performance and efficiency made possible by Zen 5 architecture; this platform is designed for AI applications and critical business workloads

The NCA-6130’s impressive specs include its support for up to 768GB of DDR5 6000MHz RDIMM, dual 3.5” HDD/SSD bays, 3x RJ45 ports (including one console port) and 2x PCIe Gen5*16 FHFL (Optional) or 1x 3/4 PCIe card for expansion, 1x M.2 2280/22110 and 8x NCS2 or 4x N2S standard NIC slots compatible with Lanner’s F.A.S.T. connectivity/storage/open compute module solutions.

According to AMD, servers such as Lanner’s NCA-6130 that are powered by the 5th Generation AMD EPYC processors “offer leadership performance, density, and efficiency, supporting deployments in everything from corporate AI-enablement initiatives and business-critical applications to providing the capability to power large-scale cloud-based infrastructures.”
